Business Controller Manufacturing & Procurement

We are looking for a Business Controller Manufacturing & Procurement for a global company in Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 5 month's contract to begin with. You will secure accurate and timely reporting of global Spend, P&L, CAPEX and COGS as well asvisualizing and explaining the main deviation vs target, YoY and QoQ for assigned departments and  COGS categories. You’ll be part of the management teams and be the finance expert providing advice, analysis and propose actions to reach target. You will lead and drive the forecast for assigned departments together with the operation.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for monthly financial reporting and analysis to group functions (ie FP&A and accounting) as well as to prepare the consolidated actuals/forecasts for operations review and be a speaking partner to the operation.
• Set yearly targets and drive cost activities in assigned areas, eg HC, spend, P&L, investments and unit program targets etc and steers the operation to reach target.
• Balance program targets into yearly targets and follow up spend per program vs frame incl gap analysis as well as approve spend requests and propose action for cost mitigation.
• Lead and drive the forecast/budget/business plan work for assigned departments together with the operations.
• Responsible and takes an active role in related party activities for assigned areas, steering model, service agreements, actuals and forecasts, etc. Including signing end contract.
• Perform SOX controls timely
• Support in supplier risk assessments
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Drive cost activities

Requierd skills:

• 7+ years’ experience in financial/business controlling, preferably within industrial or automotive business
• Broad knowledge of IFRS, Excel, experience in SAP and business analytics tools
• Strong ability to plan and coordinate work independently as well as jointly in diversified teams
• Flexible and proven experience at prioritize and be able to handle ad hoc requests

Other requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have a proactive approach and good overview capability as well as detail orientation.
• Strong business acumen and feel comfortable with interpret and communicate financial information in a clear and concise way to many different stakeholders incl non finance.
• For this position it is also essential that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The team Will report to the Controlling Manager. The team is approx. 10 team members controlling R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, Design and Investments.

This role requires fluency in both Swedish and English.
