Technical Flight Support

Flygprestanda AB, with over 56 years of industry-leading expertise in aircraft performance calculations, has been a trusted provider for airlines worldwide. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Support Application Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional support and technical assistance for our performance and Mass & Balance software solutions. You will play a key part in updating customer-specific aircraft databases, preparing and releasing new software versions, and responding to technical questions from international airline operators. You will also be involved in testing and verifying data updates, managing software distribution, and maintaining high service quality standards. This position requires a strong mix of technical ability, customer focus, and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced aviation environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive application support for our performance and Mass & Balance software solutions.
• Update and maintain customer aircraft data and databases.
• Assist in the preparation and release of new software versions.
• Handle customer inquiries and technical troubleshooting related to our software products.
• Collaborate with engineering, testing, and development teams to resolve issues and enhance our product offerings.
• Contribute to the distribution and maintenance of our software, ensuring high service quality.

Qualifications:

• Good understanding of math and physics.
• Prior experience working in Linux environments.
• Familiarity in XML, SQL, and SQLite databases.
• Background in customer support.
• Fluent in the English language (speaking and writing)
• A background in aviation is an asset.
• Additional IT experience is beneficial.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills, a customer-centric attitude, and a strong motivation to learn.
