Solution Architect

Role: Solution Architect

We are looking for a seasoned and forward-thinking Solution Architect with a deep understanding of manufacturing systems and a proven track record of delivering high-impact technical solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable architectures that align with business objectives and optimize production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Analytical Leadership: Leverage advanced analytical skills to assess complex manufacturing environments, identify improvement opportunities, and convert insights into innovative and actionable system designs.
• Technical Expertise: Design and implement MES solutions with a focus on platforms such as DELMIA Apriso. Integrate these solutions seamlessly with enterprise systems like ERP, PLM, and other backend tools.
• Process Optimization: Evaluate and challenge existing processes, promoting operational efficiency through reengineering and best practices.
• Solution Design: Translate business needs into comprehensive technical architectures. Develop solution blueprints and ensure alignment with both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, from production engineers to IT leads, ensuring clear communication and effective alignment on project goals. Facilitate workshops and gather requirements from a wide range of stakeholders.
• Documentation & Standards: Produce high-quality technical documentation, including system designs, testing protocols, implementation plans, and training materials.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee testing, validation, and system reliability to ensure alignment with expected outcomes. Actively troubleshoot issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Training & Enablement: Develop onboarding and training strategies for new users and ensure knowledge sharing across teams and stakeholders.
• Project Leadership: Take ownership of solution delivery by managing timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies within a structured project framework.
• Adaptability & Innovation: Remain agile in a dynamic, evolving environment, continuously exploring emerging technologies and techniques to improve existing systems.

Required Competencies

• Strong background in MES solutions, with hands-on experience in platforms like DELMIA Apriso
• Deep knowledge of system integration between MES and enterprise tools (ERP, PLM, etc.)
• Broad experience across various manufacturing sectors, bringing cross-industry insights
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations and leading technical workshops
• Demonstrated ability to document complex systems and create user-oriented materials
• Solid understanding of testing, validation, and deployment processes

Desirable Qualifications

• Specific experience with DELMIA Apriso is highly advantageous
• Background in training development and delivery
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices

Other Details

• Remote work is possible; however, candidates open to a reduced rate for fully remote assignments are preferred.
