Facility and Equipment Technician

BioLamina is looking for a Facility and Equipment Technician to join our Facility team. In this role, you will collaborate with team members, various departments, and external service providers while also working independently as needed. You will play a key role in maintaining the production facility and its equipment in optimal, cost-effective condition, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

We are looking for a candidate with a technical degree and at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in a cleanroom environment. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative and innovative setting.

The primary work location is Flemingsberg, with occasional tasks in Sundbyberg.

Main tasks and responsibility:

• Serve as the technical point of contact for system interfaces with the landlord (e.g., water, electricity, lighting, safety).
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of facility systems, utilities, and production equipment.
• Oversee the monitoring of systems, equipment, and FMS data, including managing FMS alarms.
• Coordinate the procurement, improvements, and installation of new equipment, ensuring alignment with the company's quality standards.
• Participate in, plan, execute, and report on studies, validation, and qualification of equipment.
• Support on-site inspections and audits by third-party inspectors and regulatory authorities.
• Draft and update documentation in compliance with the company's quality system, including SOPs, change controls (CC), deviations, and corrective actions (CAPA).
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive records of maintenance activities, in full compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Requirements:

• Higher Vocational Education Degree (YH) in Engineering or a degree in related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position.
• Experience of facility maintenance and monitoring systems.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English; fluency in Swedish is a plus.
• Strong understanding of utilities, including HVAC, LAF, gas handling, and water systems.
• Experience in documentation, including writing according to quality management systems and the qualification of facilities/equipment.
• Experience with clean room facilities is an advantage.
