About this opportunity
Welcome to Transaction Banking Strategy Office. We add value by ensuring execution of a continuously updated Transaction Banking strategy, supporting our personal and corporate customers with competitive payments products and solutions.
As the Associate Business Developer, you will focus on market and business case analysis, helping to drive strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly influence Nordea’s growth and strategic agenda. By working with a wide range of projects and stakeholders you will develop a deep understanding of the transaction banking landscape across the Nordics.
What you will be doing:
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
* Support building business cases to evaluate potential in projects and market opportunities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable insights and recommendations
* Prepare and present reports on findings, highlighting key metrics and strategic implications
* Assist in the development of business strategies and plans that align with company goals
The role is based in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Helsinki.

* A team player and feel comfortable and inspired by working with people from diverse backgrounds and skillsets
Your experience and background:
* Preferably a degree in Business (Bachelor or higher)
* Excellent stakeholder management
* Ability to navigate and collaborate across the value chain, including on senior executive level
* Fluent in one Nordic language and your command in English is strong
* Previous experience in financial modelling, business development or market analysis is a plus
The role is fixed-term (10 months) and based in Stockholm, Gothenburg or Helsinki.
