Software Engineer - E-commerce Transformation

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an e-commerce expert with system and architectural knowledge you will support and drive changes in complex system movements, containing business opportunity and architectural improvements on a global scale contributing to H&M’s digital journey.

You will:

• Maintain a comprehensive technical and architectural understanding of our e-commerce platform solutions.
• Provide expertise when major changes are made and rolled out.
• Drive the delivery of technical solutions, working collaboratively with cross functional teams, daily interact with developers, architects, product managers and sales professionals.

Our team within the Application Platform Online Unit supports and drives changes in complex system movements, containing Business opportunity and Architectural improvements on a Global scale contributing to H&M’s digital journey. We are not just building an e-commerce platform, we're creating a future-proof, scalable system that empowers millions of customers and transforms how retail works. Our transition from a monolith to a decoupled architecture is a rare opportunity for tech talent to take on challenging, impactful work.

Our mission is to maintain and evolve the Online Platforms, protecting and improving online channel revenue and develop the customer offer. You will be working in a dynamic environment with different short- and long-term initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with:

• Experience working as a solution or software architect with a strong background in e-commerce.
• Proficiency in designing business processes and managing project delivery.

And people who have:

• Hands-on experience from complex e-commerce deliveries and system integrations.
• Organization, coordination and communication skills.
• Customer centric mindset.
• The know how of implementing large initiatives/ projects at global scale.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Agile mindset.

It is good if you have experience in:

• Hybris/SAP Commerce.
• Development and technical leadership experience.
• Experience with large, global organizations.
• Information or data modelling.
