Join our Engine After-treatment Control team
The group Engine After-treatment Control software, responsible for the functionality of our catalysts and particulate filters, is now looking to add another function developer to the team. Our work includes control and diagnostics of the exhaust after-treatment system in all of Traton’s powertrains and engine projects.
Your work assignments
You will be responsible for functionalities related to after-treatment components which you together with your supporting colleagues are going to follow up on and ensure that Traton has the best product possible. Every day you will meet new challenges and you will early on get to influence, both your daily work and long-term projects. You will be able to develop functionality in your area, while also helping other groups with their problems. You will be part of the whole development cycle, from concept development to legacy support.
We work mainly with development in C and some model-based development using code generation through Simulink. An important part of the work is to develop analysis methods and models for the systems which we have responsibility for. We also test our functionality in bench as well as in vehicle.
Your qualifications
* You have experience working with the calibration of engines, catalysts, or particulate filters in engine test cells.
* You have experience and knowledge in software development. Coding in C and MATLAB/Simulink, as well as software testing, is an advantage.
* You like problem-solving and think creatively producing the most effective solution, and you have good communication skills.
* You also appreciate constantly improving tools and processes, which make the job more efficient.
* You have a Master’s degree in Engineering with a relevant specialization or someone with similar experience.
* You speak and write English. If you don't know Swedish you have a desire to learn it.
But the most important thing is that you have the right attitude and are willing to learn new things.
