Senior Software Engineer - RonDB Team

As a Senior Software Engineer in the RonDB team, you will be responsible for developing highly scalable real-time applications and storage solutions integrated with SPARK and Kafka. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of traditional SQL applications and scalable storage solutions for AI applications. This role's key focus will be designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining RonDB's key-value store and parallel SQL capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize the key-value store and parallel SQL capabilities of RonDB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RonDB seamlessly with existing data pipelines, SPARK, and Kafka.
• Implement highly scalable and low-latency solutions for processing a constant stream of read/write operations.
• Contribute to developing traditional SQL applications and storage solutions for AI applications.
• Conduct performance evaluations to ensure high availability, high throughput, and low latency of the key-value store.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously enhance and optimize RonDB's capabilities to meet market demands.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a software engineer focusing on developing distributed systems or databases.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, and Python.
• Experience with key-value stores, high-performance databases, or distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts.
• Familiarity with technologies like SPARK, Kafka, or other big data frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with real-time data processing and stream processing frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Contributions to open-source projects or relevant research publications.
